Gateways to Preventing Child Abuse
Community Leadership Forum

Featuring Keynote from Bruce D. Perry, M.D., Ph.D

Thursday, April 6, 2017  •  JW Marriott  •  Registration 11:00am  •  Luncheon 11:30am – 1:00pm

The Tomorrow’s Child Foundation hosted an intimate luncheon in April featuring acclaimed psychiatrist Dr. Bruce Perry. Guests learned how their role as key community leaders can influence change and help prevent child abuse in Central Texas. The Tomorrow’s Child Foundation’s goal is to raise funds and awareness specifically for education and prevention programs to end the cycle of child abuse in our community.  Dr. Perry’s keynote on his research on brain development after trauma shows us how important it is that we prevent child abuse and help provide intervention and treatment for those who have already experienced child abuse. The Foundation will work with the Center for Child Protection to identify and create opportunities to further our ability to prevent child abuse through primary and secondary prevention.
